The actor plays Letty's hitman lover Javier but the couple's raunchy romp is interrupted when she gets a phone call from her son's school.

The Hollywood Reporter commented: “Dockery's new direction as a bad girl is wonderfully realised - and a very welcome relief for anyone tired of the reserved Lady Mary...

“On the plus side there's Dockery's magnetic performance, a thorough busting out of the Lady Mary shackles into a sexier, harder and more externally challenging (and interesting) character.”

It won’t be long until we’re back to seeing Michelle in her former habitat however, as a big screen adaptation of Downton Abbey is on the way.

The drama’s big-screen debut comes more than two years since the final TV episode of the ITV series, which attracted audiences of over 12 million in the UK.

“It would take something big to stop the project from happening now.”
