Lauren Pope’s best friend Vas Morgan calls Chloe Crowhurst ‘fame hungry’ as she gets back with Jon Clark
AN EPIC Towie war has kicked off online - with Lauren Pope's best friend Vas J Morgan attacking Chloe Crowhurst for getting back with Lauren's now-ex Jon Clark, five days after the break-up.
Vas tweeted that Love Island star Chloe has "no shame and a thirst for fame" in a catty tweet - as well as suggesting Jon never deserved Lauren anyway.
What Vas didn't expect is to then get a bitchy reply from Chloe herself - which he duly replied to, delighting Towie fans everywhere.
Jon's up and down romance with Lauren has played out over a number of weeks on Towie but it was recently revealed he finally dumped the beautiful DJ for "not being good enough".
Now Vas has well and truly stood up for Lauren, laying into Chloe - who previously dumped Jon to go on Love Island - on Twitter.
Adding a link to The Sun's exclusive about Jon and Chloe, Vas tweeted: "This Chloe Girl has NO shame 🙈🙈 and a thirst for fame 👀💤💤."
Not long after Vas posted it, Chloe saw the tweet - and snarkily replied: "Hi hun.
"Just an FYI this is my Twitter, next time you wanna tweet about me you can tag me."
Vas then channelled Liam Gallagher with his response to Chloe, writing: "Noted... hun, I'll try and remember that next time. As you were."
But that wasn't the only shade-filled comment Vas made on the relationship saga.
He also retweeted a comment from a fan about Jon, which read: "He doesn't deserve @LaurenPope one bit. Lucky escape!!".
Knowing that less is always more, Vas merely wrote above it: "Correct."
Fans were indeed scandalised to learn that Jon, 28, had hung Lauren, 35, out to dry this week.
They had recently rowed over Lauren's friendship with her ex-boyfriend Mario Falcone and even broke things off for a time after she discovered Jon was still texting his ex Chloe.
A Towie insider said that Lauren is "really upset that Jon feels this way" after previously admitting the pair "like each other a lot".
Meanwhile Jon is "totally gutted" that their relationship is over, and despite being the one who instigated the split, he has also attacked Towie bosses for "ruining" his chances with Lauren.
A recent Towie episode saw Mario and Jon come to blows over the texts that have been sent to Lauren.
But Towie fairy godmother Gemma Collins also warned Lauren off Jon, saying he was untrustworthy.
Towie continues Sunday at 10pm on ITVBe.
