TV health guru Gillian McKeith hogged a red carpet for one hour and 45 minutes — longer than the film being premiered.
Gillian, 58, famed for studying people’s poo to see how well they are, wore a leotard and open-fronted cobweb gown.
Her get-up and behaviour even overshadowed aspiring actress daughter Afton, 17, at the launch of Rise of The Footsoldier 3: The Pat Tate Story.
In a desperate bid for attention, Gillian lingered for the cameras while the 97min film was shown.
By contrast, the film’s stars, including former EastEnder Craig Fairbrass, and celebrity guests such as DIY SOS host Nick Knowles, kept their appearances brief.
A source at London’s Leicester Square said: “Gillian was very keen to be photographed with the right people. She was getting all the photographers to take her and Afton’s pictures. She was acting like she was Tom Cruise.”
Gillian found fame in You Are What You Eat which ran on Channel 4 from 2004 to 2007. In it she tried to get participants to lose weight and probed their stools.
She also appeared on Channel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother in 2016 and fainted through I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here in 2010.
