Louis Tomlinson mocks himself with ‘chav’ throwback picture swearing at the camera and drinking a can of Stella
LOUIS Tomlinson harks back to the good old days when he was just a "Donny chav" in this brilliant throwback snap on Instagram.
The multi-millionaire One Direction member, 25, uploaded an ancient snap from his halcyon days as a Doncaster teen, showing him with a can of Stella and swearing at the camera.
The old picture seems to have been taken before Louis started grooming himself and wearing his hair in a long fringe to one side.
He also failed to mention how old he was at the time which is handy considering he was guzzling beer.
Louis, who lost his beloved mum Johannah to leukaemia at the end of last year, has come a long way since posing for the cheeky picture seeing as he's now considered to be worth £50m.
He also became a dad to Freddie through his ex Briana Jungwirth in January 2016 before getting back with his ex Eleanor Calder.
This week a new pic emerged of Louis' son and he's beginning to bear a startling resemblance to his pop star dad.
Before he got hold of a can of Stella, Louis was a very cute lad - as shown by an earlier pic of him as a tot wearing a Disney cap.
He may have had star power as a littl'un, but it wasn't until 2011 when Louis was 18 that he became a megastar, after his X Factor audition.
And in 2018 he will release his debut album, following on from his two singles Just Hold On and Back To You.
Earlier this month Louis poured his heart out for the first time about rising to super-stardom, and said: "I've struggled with the concept of fame."
The chart-topper, who shot to fame in the world's biggest boyband, gave a searingly honest interview about the pitfalls of being famous in a chat.
He added: "It's hard for anyone to get your head around.
"It was important to me to write a song that could humanize me as much as possible and that the fans can really feel I’m just like them.
"Honest and vulnerable and real."
Louis' his world fell apart when beloved mum Johannah Deakin passed away last December aged just 43, after a long battle with leukaemia.
He bravely performed his debut solo single on X Factor, just three days after Johannah's passing as a tribute to his mother.
He received a standing ovation at Wembley where he performed Just Hold On with Steve Aoki - and was praised by Simon Cowell.
Speaking about reflecting his true self in his new music he said: "It's very autobiographical and obviously about me.
"The fans have seen so much and got to know us so well, but I’ve never really had a chance to be as honest like that with music, so that was really refreshing.
"The important thing to me was that, I've read a lot of press stories about myself and the press and everyone naturally puts this spin on fame and celebrity, and I kinda just wanted to show the other side of it."
Let's hope he remembers the Donny chav he used to be when putting the finishing touches to his LP.
