Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay admit they haven’t been to the gym once since Love Island and struggled to do their own workout – despite flogging a fitness DVD
Reality hunks worked hard on getting themselves a DVD deal. But when it came to working up a sweat in the gym, they’ve not been as forthcoming
CHRIS Hughes and Kem Cetinay have revealed they’ve not been to the gym since leaving Love Island and struggled to keep up with their trainer while filming their DVD 100% Fit.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, the pair also confessed they weren’t happy with their bodies after having to take a break from working out because of their hectic schedules.
Kem explained: “We haven’t been to the gym once since we left Love Island because we’ve been so busy.
“We both feel really insecure about our bodies at the moment.”
Chris added: “People will have seen our physiques on Love Island but since we came out we’ve been really busy.
“We don’t have that level of fitness now.
“We struggled like mad during the filming but it’s relatable, like us struggling is relatable, and that for an audience makes it better.
“It’s Chris and Kem, it’s fun and energetic but at the same time we take it seriously!”
The Sun Online exclusively revealed the popular pals had bagged a DVD deal back in August.
They told us: “What can we say?! We want to keep giving fans extra, so we have been grafting on with
“You’ll be everyone’s type on paper when you’ve worked out with us. 100%!”
As well as working together on their reality TV show and the DVD, Kem has become one of Chris’ closest confidantes – even advising him on his recent spat with Katie Price.
Speaking about the messages Chris released last month, Kem, 21, said: “It kind of blew up more than it needed to be.
“I think I was with him, I weren’t in the room with him but I was with him.
“Honestly I was saying ‘Chris don’t do it!’
“I was like ‘who are you texting?’ He’s like ‘no-one’.
“I looked at my thing – Chris has just written a tweet.
“I was sitting there I was like ‘Chris have you done it?’ and he was like yeah I’ve done it.
“When he done it in the beginning I was like ‘cor Chris you’ve got yourself in a battle here’.”
