WHAT can't you miss on TV tonight? Our guide to the must-see shows...
NEW! Blue Planet II, 8pm, BBC One
It’s been four years in the making, but the sequel to 2001’s Blue Planet is finally here – and it’s almost too good for words.
Sir David Attenborough is, of course, on hand to introduce us to the wonders that have been discovered using new technology.
Every scene is a highlight in itself, with our favourites including the tusk fish that uses tools, the bird-eating Giant Trevally that actually leaps out of the water, and the sex-changing wrasse fish.
There are sombre scenes too as we’re reminded of the effects of global warming, while those wonderful final behind-the-scenes interviews in each episode explain how some of the tricky footage was captured.
All dramatised further by Hans Zimmer’s atmospheric score, you’ll watch every astonishing minute and think: “How did I not know about this before?!”
NEW! Ball and Boe: Back Together, 9pm, ITV
As if belting out hits from The Lion King and Sunset Boulevard accompanied by a 28-piece orchestra wasn’t enough, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe (l-r) treat us to their finest “80s dad rap” – and it’s worth tuning in for that alone.
There are also performances from Imelda May and Jason Manford, who proves he’s not just funny but tuneful too.
NEW! Louis Theroux: Talking To Anorexia, 9pm, BBC Two
Louis (right) returns home to the UK for this special, which tackles the devastation of eating disorders.
With access to two of London’s biggest treatment facilities for anorexia – St Ann’s Hospital and Vincent Square Clinic – he unpicks why the dark disease has such a hold over those it affects.
This will linger with you long after the credits roll.
NEW! The Countryfile Ramble for Children In Need, 6pm, BBC One
Strap your walking boots on and join the Countryfile gang as they stretch their legs across the country for the third year in a row, all in the name of a great cause.
This time round, Matt Baker is taking on a big challenge in Dartmoor National Park, Ellie Harrison is in the Brecon Beacons and Adam Henson (above) leads ramblers in Bristol.
