Gemma Collins wants to record a romantic Christmas duet with James Argent after revealing plans for a pop career
Towie star who fell down a hole live on TV says she is keen to do a duet with Arg after rebuilding their relationship - adding that Love Island's Kem and Chris could get in on the act as well
GEMMA Collins has declared she would love to do a romantic Christmas single with former boyfriend - despite their drama that occurred when she tried to get pregnant by him while he was still with Lydia Bright.
Speaking before she fell down a hole at the Radio 1 Teen Awards on Sunday, Gemma revealed her ambitions to be a pop star could lead to a special collaboration with Arg, who has become a close pal of hers again recently.
Former CBB and I'm A Celeb contestant Gemma, who has now also been linked to her jailbird ex, has already revealed she reckons she can light up the charts like a less "dated" Adele.
Now Gemma, 36, has told OK!: "In the summer, I was asked to do a record.
"I wouldn’t say I’m a proper singer, I do like to sing because it makes me feel happy when I sing, but I’m more garage!"
Then, asked if she would duet with sometime singer Arg, she added: "Absolutely, that would be amazing! We could do it for Christmas!"
Whether Arg - who has been known to sing at his mates' parties - would be up for that remains to be seen but he's certainly back in Gemma's close circle.
On Tuesday he even accompanied the Essex superstar to her nail salon and waited patiently for the end of her appointment.
Arg and Gemma dated briefly in 2012 but remained close after their split, leading to one of reality TV's most awkward splits this year.
Should Arg not agree to sing with Gemma, the Towie fave has lined up two other reality TV hunks to help her in the studio.

Love Island's Chris Hughes and Kem Cetinay, who have released their own duet Little Bit Leave It, may get the pleasure of working with her.
Asked about the Love Island lads, she gushed: "Yes! Yes! Chris and Kem will have to be my backing singers though. I’d have to be the main one!
"So if they’re happy to be in the background, I’d be happy to!"
Before she heads into the music biz, Gemma might want to straighten out her row with the BBC.
But the corporation have released a statement saying Gemma was informed about a trap door and not to step on it, adding: "The BBC takes the health and safety of everyone involved very seriously and we are awaiting a full report from Remedy - the production company who made the show - about the incident.
"But they have told us that Gemma did receive a full briefing before going on stage."
