AMANDA Holden and Ben Shephard got into a playful spat today on This Morning as they continued to cover for regular presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
The TV presenters kicked off the show with spooky ghost tales in the lead up to Halloween when Ben made a cheeky comment about Amanda.
Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda was opening up about her own creepy encounter as she said: "I've had a massive ghost experience.
Amanda immediately hit back as she said: "Shut up!"
She continued: "To turn in an ogre, I had to leg it off stage, and put my mask on and be sprayed green."
Again, Ben interrupted her adding: "Sorry – put the mask on?"
Amanda then slapped her co-host and told him to "shut it".
She continued to explain how the one of the infamous 'ghosts of Drury Lane' got in her way when she was busy doing her ogre transformation scene.
Thinking the 'ghost' was just a member of the crew, Amanda moved out of the way and continued with her work.
But was then told afterwards that no one else had been there with her.
As she finally came to the end of the her tale she apologised to producers for "going over" by telling her stories.
She joked: "I've bored the bottoms off you."
Holly and Phil will not be presenting This Morning all week (October 23 to October 27, 2017).
The dynamic duo are taking their usual school half term break and will return Monday 30 October 2017 at 10.30am.
On Friday (October 27, 2017) Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford will do their usual slot.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10:30am on ITV.
