Coronation Street fans worried Andy Carver will become twisted killer himself after Phelan lies to him that Vinny let Michael die
Viewers can't believe Phelan's twisted new plot as he tells his prisoner with 'Stockholm Syndrome' that his enemy Vinny killed his dad, setting up some very dramatic scenes
CORRIE fans were biting their nails tonight after twisted villain Phelan lied to his vulnerable captive Andy that it was actually his enemy Vinny killed his father Michael.
Phelan - who is responsible for Michael's death - also promised to let him have Vinny as his prisoner the following night, prompting fans to worry that a starved, desperate Andy would take revenge on the wrong man.
Others were worried Andy was unable to tell the difference between truth and lies as he has a "case of Stockholm Syndrome" after months as Phelan's prisoner.
Fans are speculating that either Vinny will be forced to kill Andy or Andy will snap and kill the stranger simply because Phelan tells him to.
It comes after a shocking scene showed Phelan ambushing his former property business aide Vinny on his return to Weatherfield - punching him in the stomach and demanding cash.
And while grim threats were made, nobody knows what Phelan has done with Vinny's elderly mother, who was missing when Vinny came to visit with flowers.
Kidnapped Andy has been secretly locked up by Phelan for months now after he rumbled his property scamming plot.
Now Phelan has threatened to kill Andy and finally become a murderer as well as a rapist, conman and torturer.
But maybe he doesn't feel comfortable enough to do it himself seeing as his daughter, Nicola Rubinstein, is always on his case.
