GEMMA Collins claims she could have DIED when she fell through a trap door on stage at the Radio 1 Teen Awards on Sunday night.
Speaking on today's This Morning, the Towie star said her "big bum" broke her fall and thanked Love Island stars Jamie Jewitt, Marcel Somerville and Amber Davies for helping her get up.
She told stand-in hosts Ben Shephard and Amanda Holden that the fall "could have been fatal".
"I'm in a bit of shock still, I am in a bit of pain this morning but I found the whole experience absolutely hilarious," she said.
"The seriousness of it is that it could have been fatal because what people don't see is that under there it's all machinery.
"The three Love Island guys were coming up on stage and I just want to apologise because I wiped them out. They had to go and see paramedics!
"It could have been fatal but it wasn't so you've just got to dust yourself off - it was the best moment of my life to stand on stage at Wembley Stadium but I just wish I hadn't got so excited and spun round to give them the award and fell in the hole."
Amanda then quipped: "We could have had a minced Gemma Collins!"
Gemma agreed saying: "My mum was crying her eyes out, she was like 'You could have died'."
Ben then suggested that the Love Islanders had saved her as she "squished them on the way in".
"They were screaming 'Get her up! Her legs are gonna be crushed!' because the platform underneath was raising up and my legs were dangling over the end of it so thank you to the two Love Island guys," Gemma said.
"That poor girl [Amber] nearly got totally crushed, there's nothing of her. She nearly got totally crushed."
"But I lived to tell tale, I got back up and went on to present with Grimmy and Rita.
"It's just one of these moments I don't think I'll ever live down."
Ben then asked if the production company had warned her that the Love Islanders would be coming up from underneath.
Gemma said: "I'm not allowed to discuss that but all will be forgiven with the BBC if they give me a slot on Strictly next year."
Amanda told her: "Well done for seeing the funny side" before Ben asked if she had any injuries.
"It was my left side that hit as I went down; as you know I've got a bit of a booty and thank god for that because it has protected me."
Amanda joked: "It was like an air bag!" and Gemma agreed saying: "I have a bruised left bum cheek but apart from that I'm rocking and rolling."
