Gordon Ramsay on Cocaine left viewers disappointed — after believing he would be taking drugs on the show
VIEWERS were left baffled by Gordon Ramsay’s new ITV documentary — after tuning in thinking it was a show about him taking drugs.
The chef’s new show, called Gordon Ramsay on Cocaine, saw him travel to Colombia to investigate the illegal world of the class A substance.
But viewers thought they would see the outspoken Scot, 50, indulging himself.
Confused Twitter user, going by the username @StoutSAFC, wrote: “Ten minutes into Gordon Ramsay on Cocaine and he’s not had a single line, false advertisement this.”
While equally baffled Frankie Holliday added: “Gordon Ramsay on Cocaine is such a misleading title. Shame.”
Social media account Meat Lust joked: “Really enjoyed Gordon on Cocaine. Looking forward to Delia On Heroin next week and Nigella on Ket the week after that.”
But foul-mouthed Gordon didn’t disappoint with his swear word count as he made his triumphant return to British telly on Thursday night.
He managed to notch up almost a swear word a minute, with an eye-watering 44 expletives during 50 minutes of programming.
He uttered 26 f***s, 16 s***s and two a***s.
The documentary saw the dad-of-four swabbing his London restaurant and hitting out management when he discovered cocaine use was rife in his premises.
Audiences could be forgiven for thinking for expecting to see the telly host dabble with drugs on screen after ITV announced wacky new doc Gone To Pot earlier this year.
