Who is Tracy Leanne Jefford? X Factor 2017 singer sent home in the second weekend of live shows
X FACTOR contestant Tracy Leanne Jefford looks set for major success after getting through several rounds of the show.
She got sent home from the competition after the second weekend of live shows, but something tells us we haven't seen the last of her. Here's the low-down...
Who is Tracy Leanne Jefford, how old is she and what is her background?
Tracy Leanne Jefford is a wannabe singer, X Factor 2017 contestant and mum-of-three.
Coming from a community of travellers from Middlesex, Tracy auditioned for The X Factor in 2006 when she was 24 but only made it through to the group stage.
Now she has returned gloriously to the programme and wowed at her audition with The Shirelles' Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.
She's made it through all the way to the Judges' Houses rounds and is in Nicole Scherzinger's Overs category.
Tracy Leanne made it through the first weekend of live shows before being eliminated from the competition.
How much weight has Tracy Leanne lost?
Since her first X Factor stint in 2006, Tracy has lost a whopping five and a half stone.
She told the judges this year: "I was a different person back then... I never had no confidence."
Judge Nicole told her after the audition: "I think you're going to watch this back and hopefully fall in love with yourself."
Tracy has been proudly showing off her new figure in revealing and clingy outfits during her show performances so far.
At the moment she is also going through a divorce after getting married at the age of 17.
Why did Tracy Leanne's Six Chair Challenge appearance cause controversy?
While singing Grace's You Don't Own Me during her Six Chair Challenge audition, Tracy left Simon Cowell very unimpressed.
After dismissing the rendition as "the worst audition", Simon and his pals still let her repeat the song - as an acoustic version.
Still unhappy with that they asked her if she had anything else to sing and she started n Misty Blue by Etta James.
Despite not seeming overwhelmed by her THIRD attempt to get a coveted chair in the Overs category, Nicole still gave her a seat and she replaced John Lilygreen.
Fans were both bemused by the fact that Tracy had got so many chances - and by the fact that Lilygreen had to give up his place instead of long-haired "novelty act" Slavko.
