Who is Ricky Wilson, how old is he and what is his background?
Ricky Wilson is a waistcoat-loving singer, best-known as the frontman of indie rock band Kaiser Chiefs.
The 40-year-old was born in Keighley, West Yorkshire and was a schoolboy at Leeds Grammar School.
The homebody even went on to study at Leeds Metropolitan University and studied art to Masters level, and then taught for a year at Leeds College of Art.
Around that time he worked in a bar in the northern city - and singer Paloma Faith, who became his co-judge on The Voice UK, happened to be one of his colleagues.
In the early noughties he was also trying to make it with his band Parva alongside fellow Leeds residents Andrew White, Simon Rix, Nick Hodgson and Nick Baines.
Parva released one album called 22 in 2003 which made little impact on the music scene.
But they eventually burst on to the scene using a different name, Kaiser Chiefs, with their first album Employment in 2005.
Ricky and his pals won three Brits for the album as well as an NME award and it was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize, kick-starting a frenzy of Kaiser fandom and memorable gigs.
Vijay Mistry joined in as a drummer in 2012, replacing Nick Hodgson.
What are Kaiser Chiefs biggest hits and have they split up?
You're bound to have heard one of the group's many hit songs, including I Predict A Riot, Ruby, Oh My God and Every Day I Love You Less And Less.
They also had success with their tracks Ruby, Never Miss A Beat, The Angry Mob, Na Na Na Na Naaa and Modern Way.
To date the band have released six studio albums, the last being 2016's Stay Together.
The band have not split but in late 2012 founding member Nick Hodgson left, and he released a solo single called Suitable in October 2017.
When was Ricky on The Voice UK and why did he leave?
In 2013, during a fallow period of Kaiser Chiefs activity, Ricky was announced as a new judge on The Voice UK and he was on it for three series.
For his first series he judged with Sit Tom Jones, will.i.am and Kylie Minogue before Minogue was replaced by Rita Ora, and then in 2016, by Paloma Faith - with Boy George also replacing Jones that year.
Ricky's acts Stevie McCrorie and Kevin Simm won the series two years in a row.
But when the show moved to ITV in 2017 Ricky did not stay for a fourth series.
He said in early 2017 that he did not stay because ITV did not offer him enough money and that was all that was keeping him - but added that he'd be open to returning is producers "came knocking".
However, a few months later he admitted he was "furious" to not have been invited back and said he would "love" to return - adding that he's been haranguing producers in person.
Olly Murs, Jennifer Hudson, will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones are making up the 2018 judging panel.
Is Ricky married and does he have kids?
Ricky is unmarried but he has a girlfriend, stylist Grace Zito, who he's been with since April 2015.
They met when Grace styled the Kaiser Chiefs for their 2014 video My Life and she also dressed him on The Voice UK.
They don't have children but they do have a pet labradoodle called Norman Reedus, named after an actor from The Walking Dead.
In April 2019, Ricky proposed to Grace and the pair are believed to be tying the knot in August 2019.
Before Grace, Ricky dated TV producer Lesley Williams for five years.
