Richard Madeley tells frisky Peter Stringfellow, 77, he needs a vasectomy after cheeky chat on Good Morning Britain about older dads
THE stand-in host shared a joke with lapdance club-owner Peter - who has two young children.
RICHARD Madeley said Peter Stringfellow, 77, should get a vasectomy after the frisky lapdance club owner told of his night in a hotel with his wife.
The businessman was met with the jokey comment fromduring a discussion on older dads on today's Good Morning Britain.
Cheeky Peter has a two-year-old and a four-year-old with third wife Bella. He also has two grown-up children.
The half-Italian beauty met Peter at his Stringfellows venue in London and, after getting hitched in 2009, she gave birth to their daughter Rosabella and son, Angelo.
Talking of the evening in London before he appeared on the ITV show he said: "We had a good night last night," hinting there could be more kids to come.
After host Kate Garraway asked when the "cut-off" would be for his brood he cheekily replied: "Yes, last night was the cut-off!"
This prompted Richard, 61, to bluntly state: "I think you are going to have to have a vasectomy!"
Yet this didn't stop Peter from gushing: "I have a wife that's delicious and gorgeous and that I adore.
"You are looking at the happiest man in the world."
Peter was quizzed on today's breakfast show after it was revealed popstar Billy Joel was set to become a dad for the third time at the age of 68.
This means there is a 31-year-old age gap between the Piano Man's oldest and youngest child.
Peter denied age was an issue when talking of his parenting, admitting he takes his kids to school and is like "a celebrity at the school gates."
He added: "I will be leaving them with a wonderful mother, and they are financially secure."
He denied his daughter suffered from any anxiety courtesy of having a slightly older dad than her schoolmates.
GMB fans took to Twitter to share their views, with one giggling: "Hahaha! Rub his nose in it, Madeley."
Another put: "Being a new father at 77??? Is this not selfish ? Fine for the father , not for the child who ends up grieving their dad as a child!"
A third followed up with: "What I wanna know is who the hell is still sleeping with Peter Stringfellow???" as another celebrated: "Fair Play to the Old Geezas!"
Peter has previously spoken out about how meeting Bella changed his life.
In a he said: "I will be a good and faithful husband to her for the rest of my life. I want to make Bella happy. I will not let her down. I have met the love of my life.
"Up until I met Bella, exclusivity had not been part of my life. But that has all changed. The old Peter Stringfellow is gone and Bella and I are looking forward to a wonderful future together."
Meanwhile, the racy theme kicked off on today's GMB as stand-in anchor Richard confessed he was presenting the programme COMMANDO.
