You’ll never guess who this Loose lady is after incredible transformation into Ben 10 alien supervillain
THIS TV personality gave her family and co-stars a major shock with her amazing transformation into an evil, scaly vixen by the makers of Cartoon Network's Ben 10 - but can you guess who it is?
It took more than four hours to get the gobby chatterbox, and star of Loose Women, to look like an alien warlord called Vilgax, complete with head tentacles, rippling muscles and green skin.
The Hollywood-standard costume also came with weird black boots and lipstick, as well as a very convincing "bald" domed head.
And the star was transformed by BAFTA-winning studio Millennium FX who have created Doctor Who villains like The Ood, Weeping Angels and The Silence.
The celebrity inside the costume agreed to do it because she knew it would delight her nine-year-old son, who is a huge fan on Ben 10.
Have you guessed who the famous person inside the suit is yet? Read on to find out...
Giving herself away with her famously huge smile, Loose Women star and former X Factor contestant Stacey Solomon is the woman inside the alien suit.
And luckily her son Zach, brother to five-year-old Leighton, was delighted to see his mum looking so terrifying, though it's unknown whether Stacey's boyfriend Joe Swash was on board.
Stacey, 28, said of the experience: "“I was probably as shocked as Zach was to see the finished result! Both my kids are such massive fans of Ben 10 – I had to be part of it.
"There’s something about an everyday person transforming into a huge alien or monster that kids just love.”
Encouraging other parents to get involved with their kids' passions, she added: “I think it’s so important, especially while kids are young, to involve yourself in the things they love as much as possible and join in their world.
"Obviously I’ve had a bit of help today from Cartoon Network, but, however you can, take part in something your kids are doing right now…while they still don’t mind hanging out with you!”
Stacey didn't allow herself all the fun, however, as Zach got to dress up as alien-fighter extraordinaire Ben 10, complete with his magic Omnitrix watch.
Apart from being more than happy to take part in her sons' alien antics, fun-loving Stacey is also proving to be a good role model by opening up on how she's overcome her body image issues.
The star, who has been amazingly frank about childbirth recently too, said she has learned to love her nose despite having a hang-up about it throughout her life.
She wrote online: "Sometimes the things we are most insecure about can become our best friends.
"I used to hate my side profile because of my nose and be so sad I didn't have a smooth cute button pixie nose (which is what I thought was the ultimate sign of beauty).
"Even the emoji is smooth but now I feel like I'm unique with lots of different bits and bumps that make me, me.
"Thank g-d for Barbara Streisand, Bette Midler, and many more people who I look up to and have been rocking their amazing noses since day one! #filter #makeup #beauty #different #sideprofile #loveyourself #wearealldifferent #beautiful," she added.
She may not be an alien every day but Stacey's principles are out of this world.
Ben 10 airs weekdays at 4pm on Cartoon Network.
