X Factor star Sam Callahan in talks for Ex on the Beach after quitting show last series over romance with Lotto winner Jane Park
SAM Callahan has revealed he is in talks to star in the new series of Ex on the Beach – after being forced to quit the show over his former romance with Jane Park.
The former X Factor hopeful was forced to pull out of the MTV dating programme when Lotto winner Jane banned him from joining the line-up.
But in an exclusive interview with The Sun’s Bizarre column Sam has told how he is back in the running – and that he was too good for his ex when they were together.
He said: “I have been chatting with the Ex on the Beach producers – I can confirm that.
It’s not official but it is there and we have had chats. It is something I’m keen to do.
“Jane was punching and chatting s***. She said all sorts of stuff like if I was going to do Big Brother she would be following me in and telling me what I can and can’t do.
“But Jane would be in no position to do that because there’s nothing between us now.
“We got very, very close. But she lives about 500 miles away and she’s about 18ft tall and has bigger shoulders than I do.”
The Sun revealed that Sam had signed up for Ex on the Beach last year after turning down a spot on Celebrity Big Brother.
He had been in talks with the MTV production company after impressing with his hunky physique and outgoing personality.
But he gave up any chance of being on the show when Jane felt "uncomfortable" about his appearance.
A source revealed in March: “He’s spoken to Jane about it and she was pretty unsure with the whole idea as obviously the show is based on guys and girls hooking up.
“It’s still early days but Sam wants to make sure he doesn’t do anything to put their relationship at risk."
Now Sam appears to regret his decision – and doesn’t hold back when it comes to vocalising his feelings over Jane.
He added: "She started throwing shade at me on Twitter – I never did anything to upset her she just started being all nasty to me. Jane is a psycho, she’s a nutter."
