STEPHANIE Davis has shared a video of herself singing a song she wrote about heartbreak.
The 24-year-old - who first came to the public’s attention when she appeared in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Over The Rainbow seven years ago, played the piano as she sang about a failed romance, just days after ex Jeremy McConnell was accused of faking a romance with a female fan to make Steph jealous.
Alongside the clip she wrote: OLD song I wrote. No harmonies as just me and piano but work in progress, can't wait to get back in the studio. Called Momma.
“Talking about comparing my mum and dad's love on how it should be to what things were. I love to write! I have So many songs dont know where to start haha but here you go💕 little snippet.”
And despite the song being old, the lyrics must still feel poignant to Steph whose rollercoaster relationship with Jez ended this year in a domestic abuse court case which she said made her suffer a miscarriage.
Lyrics include: “Momma I love this man, if you ask me how I don’t understand.
“I can’t break free from his spell, I’ve lost myself to him.
“A heart that’s filled with good and man with stone cold eyes.”
Fans were thrilled with Steph’s vocals.
One said: “Now this is the road u go..its all coming together for u now.. u deserve the best x”
Another added: “Can't wait to hear more , your voice gives me goosebumps”
And a third said: “Stripped back and beautiful, what gorgeous sentiment too. I’m amazed you’ve been hiding that voice and talent x 💕”
This comes as the Liverpudlian star has revealed that she has joined the CAN Group in a bid to start her life afresh - and joins the likes of other reality celebs including Rachel Hunter, Danielle Armstrong and Amy Childs.
As the announcement of her new management was made, an excited Steph said she wanted to show people the "real" her.
She added: "I think it is about time I surround myself with good people who can help make this happen and I can’t wait to start my new journey with a fresh start and exciting things to come."
