Gemma Atkinson cosies up to Strictly lover Gorka Marquez as they enjoy dinner date together

GEMMA Atkinson grins like a school girl as she chats to her Strictly Come Dancing lover Gorka Marquez during a cosy dinner - as their controversial romance continues apace.

The ex-Hollyoaks star, 32, shared jokes with the hunky dance pro - who is partnered with Alexandra Burke - after The Sun revealed the pair are dating and working out together at the gym.

Soap babe Gemma, who was seen laughing her head off during the meal with other dancers, was still wearing her workout gear from dancing with her own married partner Aljaz Skorjanec.

Sexy 27-year-old Spaniard Gorka, meanwhile, was wearing a dark cap and T-shirt that showed off his muscular tattooed arms.

He barely left Gemma's side at the restaurant, where Mollie King and her partner AJ Pritchard were also seen getting on like a house on fire.

Alexandra Burke didn't attend the dinner - after speaking out for the first time on Gorka's romance with Gemma on morning TV.

Talking on Lorraine, Alexandra played it cool when the subject came up, and said: "Apparently that's happening!

"I don't know where he has got time to have anything going on, to be fair."

Asked whether the news had left her feeling a little anxious about Gorka's attention span, she added: "It's a lot of fun and there's a lot of love with every single contestants on the show.

"For me, my concern is making sure Gorka and I are fully in tune with each other and were having so much fun, we won't let anything get in the way. We're focused."

It's thought Gorka and Gemma, who are both equally obsessed with fitness, hit it off for the first time when they met for the training session before Strictly kicked off on telly.

But Gemma ended up being partnered with Aljaz, and is one of the favourites to win the series, scoring an impressive 31 on last week's show.

However, Gorka and Alexandra just beat that score with 33 and managed an amazing 36 for one of their first dances too.

Whoever turns out to be more successful in the contest, it will be a nail-biting finale if both women make the last week.
