But fans of the star should follow her advice with caution as drinking vinegar on an empty stomach can cause tissue damage and lower potassium.

Some say it can aid digestion, get rid of bad breath and remove stains from teeth.

The former Spice Girl's bizarre and highly questionable vinegar trick has both pros and cons, according to health sites.

Victoria recently revealed another controversial food she likes to dish up to her kids - toasted Amino seeds as an after-school snack.

Is apple cider vinegar for breakfast good for you?

IT'S a food trend up there with the blueberry and kale revoltion.

Diluting a couple of teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in some hot water and knocking it back before breakkie has been hailed as a "miracle" weight loss trick.

But, is there any science that backs that up and does the unusal tipple really help you shed pounds?

Dieitian Helen Bond told The Sun Online while there's "nothing wrong with apple cider vinegar" and adds it's a great way to flavour food, it won't get you into that little black dress in time for Christmas, if that's the only change you make to your diet.

"If you really think losing weight really was just about a few teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in some hot water, I'm afraid it's not going to cut it," she said. "A lot of these things are just fads, without scientific backing.

"There's nothing wrong with it, but the evidence is not conclusive, and a lot comes from animal rather than human studies."While you can add it to your diet, it is still important to look at the nutritional content of your food.

"There has been a suggestion that the drink helps curb sugar cravings and makes you feel full before a meal, meaning you eat less. But, Helen warns drinking it first thing could cause tummy upsets."It's quite acidic, and you're putting that into an already acidic environment, the stomach after its overnight fast."

And to top it off Helen said VB and other fans of the trend could be putting their pearly whites at risk, as the acidic content can cause problems with the enamel, the tooth's protective layer.

The star once again took to her Instagram Story to share snaps of her sprouted grain and seed-packed cereal dished up with a plate of mixed berries.

Posh Spice snapped her picture-perfect meal in her kitchen, starting with an image of the Food For Life Ezekiel 4:9 product box and the greeting: "Good morning!!"

Following up with a serving tip the 43-year-old wrote: "Perfect with organic unsweetened almond milk."

David Beckham's fashion designer wife then posted another snap of her dish in full glory, covered with the nutty milk and exclaimed: "The kids do like it too!! x"

She followed it by showing her fans a healthy array of greens she was putting through a blender for a nutritious kick.

While she prepared a liquid breakfast husband David was on his knees tending to a broken freezer.

Victoria wrote: "Thank goodness for David Beckham when the freezer brakes!! (sic) x"

Yet those wanting to recreate a Beckham breakfast will have to fork out around £7 per box.

The brand claims its products are packed with extra nutrition as they use a process to "sprout" the grains and "unlock the dormant food energy."

The brunette's recipe advice came hot on the heels of her home-made gluten-free snack, ready to be dished up to Harper, Cruz and Romeo after school.

Last week, we reported how the health-conscious mum is swerving the chocolate bars and crisps to give her brood a far healthier treat - a tray crammed with pumpkin seeds and pine nuts and covered in Liquid Aminos.

Posh captured an image of the gluten-free grub with the words: "Seeds doused in organic Aminos!

Grilled until crispy! After school snack. Good for mummy too!"

According to the manufacturer, Liquid Aminos are "a non-GMO Project Verified liquid protein concentrate, derived from soybeans and is an "excellent alternative for Tamari and soy sauce."

But eldest son Brooklyn would have missed out on the afternoon energy boost after moving to America for his studies to become a photographer.

Meanwhile, the former pop star's kitchen delights have given her fans a glimpse at how she maintains her super-toned shape.

Victoria often proves the perfect model for her own fashion lines, with the tailored fit of her sophisticated garments flattering her frame at recent events including London Fashion Week.

We revealed Victoria's strict personal diet saw her request a tailor-made, low-calorie menu at her favourite holiday resort in the Maldives.

Sources said she was adamant that each meal she consumed at the resort must fall within her stated daily allowance and nutrition margins.

A source told The Sun: “The staff at Koi were contacted in advance to make sure they had all the ingredients for what she would want to eat each day during her stay with us.

“Her menu was mostly seafood – Maldivian yellow fun tuna, Australian king fish, tea smoked salmon and a lot of sashimi.

“To go with her meals, she wanted a very simple salad which is mainly white radishes and lettuce with lemon juice, and toasted edamame beans.

“She also asked for fruit, and her ‘treat’ item was Atlantic black cod, which is very rich and so a little more calorific than the other foods she asked for."
