After revealing the state of her filthy bathroom, Nadia joked that she was taking tips from Mary Berry’s new cleaning book
NADIA Sawahla has joked that she’s taking tips from Mary Berry on how to clean her dirty toilet after revealing what a state it was on social media.
The Loose Woman’s grubby bathroom came up when the panel were discussing Mary Berry’s new Household Tips & Tricks book - which they don’t appear to be big fans of.
Nadia sarcastically said: “I know you’re not particularly enamoured with this book but as you know I talk often about how I’m the most terrible housekeeper, so this is going to become my new bible.”
She then went onto list the 82-year-old’s quirky household tips.
Nadia joked: “Today I’m going to go home and I’m going to take her tips. I’m going to find a disused mug.
“I’m going to flush the toilet as this is what Mary Berry tells me to do, I’m going to remove a mugful of water, so I’m left with my lime scale in a position where I can now reach it, and I’m going to get a lime scale remover and I’m going to put it around – this is Mary Berry’s recipe! A recipe to clean the toilet!
“Then I’m going to get a tiny brush and I’m going to go all the way around the lime scale until I’ve got it spanking, sparkling clean. Does anyone believe me?!”
As the rest of the panel laughed at Nadia’s routine, Gloria Hunniford confessed she was unimpressed with the GBBO icon releasing the book.
She moaned: “Nowadays it’s Mary Berry’s garden tips, Mary Berry’s household tips. Where are we going to go next?”
“Sex tips!” shrieked Nadia, as the panel continued to laugh.
Nadia and Janet Street-Porter then went on to joke about Mary’s advice on how to fit 16 cups and saucers on a tray.
And despite it all being in friendly jest, some viewers weren’t happy with the panel mocking Mary.
One said: “#LooseWomen taking the p*** out of Mary Berry reminds me of the High school bitches.”
And another raged: “As if #LooseWomen are trying to slag off Mary Queen Berry 😑😶😶 too far”
Yesterday Nadia posted a video of her bathroom as she soaked in the tub.
She captioned it: "Hate my #bathroom .. if yours is rubbish too share pics ! X".
In the clip, she showed the broken panels and dodgy paint while saying: "If anyone has got a worse bathroom than mine, please send me a photo and cheer my toes up."
One follower joked that she should "go back on Big Brother" to make some cash for a new loo while others posted snaps of their dodgy bathrooms.
