Jamie Redknapp REFUSES to watch estranged wife Louise’s new show Cabaret in row over friendship with Daisy Lowe
JAMIE Redknapp is refusing to watch estranged wife Louise in her breakthrough role in the stage musical Cabaret.
The former footballer, who has now taken off his wedding ring, is becoming increasingly angry about her treatment of their marriage.
And he accuses the ex-Eternal singer’s “young pals” from Strictly Come Dancing, especially her new best friend Daisy Lowe, 28, of disrupting it.
Louise’s lead role in Cabaret, which opened in Wimbledon and is touring the UK, has reignited her passion for performing but Jamie insists he will not attend.
A source close to the couple said: “It’s very telling. It’s her big moment but he feels it would be too awkward.
“He’s gutted about what’s happened. It’s unfair to suggest he didn’t allow her to pursue her dreams. He was totally supportive of her decision to do Strictly. Jamie and their friends don’t understand why she had to walk out on the marriage to pursue her own career.”
Our source added: “He absolutely hates the impact her new pathetic young pals and the Strictly crew like Daisy and Will Young have had on Louise.”
Jamie’s mates are incensed by a bombshell interview in which Louise, 42, told why she walked out on the TV pundit, 44.
She said she was trapped trying to be a perfect wife and mum and backed away from having a third child.
Going on Strictly made her rethink her life.
The Sun revealed in April their marriage was the latest to be hit by the Strictly curse.
