DARREN Day got his first taste of fame when he was just 17-years-old.
Since then he has carved a very successful career as a West End performer and also TV star.

Darren Day was born on July 17, 1968 in Colchester, Essex.
He has showbiz in his blood, as he grandad worked as an acrobat who was once booked as a warm-up act for George Formby.
Throughout his childhood, Darren took part in drama classes.
The actor also has a passion for snooker, which he played professionally until ditching it for his TV and film career.
Darren broke into showbusiness when he was just 17-years-old.
After joining a comedy cabaret trio, he went solo and landed a role on BBC's Opportunity Knocks in 1987.
He was successful on the show, winning a number of heats and finishing fourth in the final.
Darren had his breakthrough on the West End stage in the late 80s.

Darren appeared on the very first I'm A Celebrity back in 2001.
He starred alongside eventual King of the Jungle Tony Blackburn and the late Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, who was the series runner-up.
Model Nell McAndrew, comedian Rhona Cameron, boxer Nigel Benn and magician Uri Geller also completed the series one line-up.
During an interview with Good Morning Britain, Darren revealed that while in the jungle he was going cold turkey from his addictions to alcohol and cocaine.
He said: "I literally went cold turkey in front of the whole country. I was smashed when I got on the plane [to Australia]."
When asked by host Richard Madeley if he managed to stay clean after two weeks on the show, Darren replied: "I was straight back into active addiction."
Talking about his time in the jungle, he added: "I was just an idiot, I'm not surprised people didn't like me."
Is Darren Day married and does he have any children?
Darren isn't married but he is engaged to his fiancée Sophie Ladds, which is his SIXTH engagement.
He once proposed to actress Anna Friel, but gave the £30K engagement ring to Corrie star Tracy Shaw after they split — before dumping her for Isla Fisher.
Darren then went on to date dancer Adele Vellacott, with the pair becoming engaged.
But eight months later it emerged that he enjoyed a fling with Hear’Say singer Suzanne Shaw who he also popped the question to, and welcomed his first son Core with.
Darren then wed Emmerdale actress Stephanie Dooley.
They announced their split in August 2019 after 12 years of marriage.
Including Corey, Darren has three kids - he welcomed Madison and Dalton with his ex-wife Stephanie.
