GEMMA Atkinson's partner Aljaz Skorjanec suffered a major wardrobe blunder on Strictly Come Dancing tonight when an ear fell off his bear costume.

The dancer was dressed as Baloo from The Jungle Book for movie week, and the beleaguered bear lost part of his costume during the routine.

The pair performed the Charleston to The Bare Necessities from classic 1967 Disney movie, with Gemma dressed as friendly pantha Bagheera.

It was movie week and the couples went all out with their costumes.

Aljaz looked the part in a big grey bear suit, complete with face paint and matching ears.

But after giving his all in the energetic dance routine, one of his Baloo ears fell off.

Aljaz continued the performance despite the mishap, and was able to see the funny side when called in front of the judges.

He even pretended to be hard of hearing when talking to presenter Tess Daly.

They won mixed reviews from the judges with Craig Revel Horwood saying the dance was "full of character and energy".

He added: "I was sad to see there was no basic Charleston and you only swivel on your right leg, bizarrely."

Darcy and Shirley also praised the pair for their high-energy routine, and gave credit to Aljaz for the choreography.

They scored a respectable 31 for the efforts.
