Strictly Come Dancing’s Charlotte Hawkins leaves viewers hot under the collar with her sexy Top Gun routine – and she even impresses Piers Morgan
Charlotte impressed fans with her smouldering routine, but partner Brendan Cole rowed with judge Shirley Ballas over a dance floor blunder
STRICTLY Come Dancing's Charlotte Hawkins left viewers hot under the collar with her sexy Top Gun routine - and she even managed to impress Piers Morgan.
The TV star wowed fans and her Good Morning Britain co-star with her smouldering performance on tonight's show.
Charlotte was left in tears last week after coming under fire for a series of mistakes she made on the dance floor.
She came back stronger with this week with a fiery performance to Kenny Loggins' Danger Zone Top Gun theme.
The newsreader and her partner Brendan Cole sexed up their performance as promised - and their saucy Tango made a big impression.
Fans flocked to Twitter to praise Charlotte over her sexy routine, calling it a big improvement on last week , and even Piers gave her a tweet.
The notoriously difficult to please GMB host wrote: "Much better, Ms Hawkins! You remembered what I taught you. #MaverickMorgan."
But many fans felt the performance was overshadowed by Brendan's subsequent row with judge Shirley Ballas.
As they faced the panel, Brendan admitted messing up his footwork, saying: "I messed up. It was me. I put my hands up."
But he got a roasting from Shirley over the "rise and falls" in the tango.
Brendan hit back, insisting there were none in the routine, and they ended up bickering.
He said: "I'm sorry, but there were no rise and falls."
Shirley snipped back: "You should play it back, my dear."
Viewers flocked to Twitter to tell the dancer off for talking back to the judge.
One wrote: "Brendan can not take criticism in any way, shape or form. Keep quiet #Strictly."
Another wrote: "Oooooooooh Brendan vs Shirley ding ding, go. #Strictly."
A third tweeted: "Brendan is so bloody rude. Sit down. #strictly."
