Sometimes the most boring of jobs brings about the most hilarious results - anything to make the time go quickly!

BEING a film star has its downsides, and weeks and weeks of press junkets is definitely a price celebs pay for their glamorous lives.

However, some tend to make the most of the situation, and it results in some of the most hilarious (and awkward) celebrity interviews ever.

Jennifer Aniston pranks Radio One’s Chris Stark

In 2014, as Chris Stark began finding his feet as an interviewer, he was given the opportunity to interview Jennifer Aniston for her movie, Horrible Bosses 2.

Unfortunately for him, Scott Mills had got in touch with Jennifer, and the pair made sure he was left squirming in his seat as she became the most obnoxious and cut off interviewee ever.

Offended by the line of questioning, Jennifer remained stone cold as Chris desperately tried to get her back on side – only to brand Scott a “t***” when she he found out the truth.

Jennifer immediately apologised for putting him through it all, and Chris looked just relieved that he still had a job at the end of it.

Jason Segel and Paul Rudd interview stoned

Promoting I Love You Man in 2004, a Rotten Tomatoes interviewer got more than he bargained for after meeting stars Jason Segel and Paul Rudd after they had been smoking a funny cigarette.

Unable to contain their giggle fits, the conversation goes completely awry as the pair start talking about an imaginary friend called Gideon who rides a unicorn.

While they seem like they’re having the best time ever and their eccentric senses of humour take over, the poor interviewer was left awkwardly laughing as he could barely get a word in.

Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford get the giggles with Alison Hammond

Notoriously difficult to interview at the best of times, Alison did what few can - and made Harrison Ford giggle.

The This Morning presenter was put in charge of an interview with the Hollywood stars as they promoted their film Blade Runner 2047.

Admitting immediately she hadn't seen the original film, the presenter's playful banter melted Harrison and Ryan's hearts and they ended up spending most of their time laughing.

Morgan Freeman falls asleep

Morgan Freeman had been working a long day of a press junket with Michael Caine promoting Now You See Me when it got too much for him.

As Michael answered one of the questions, Morgan was caught on camera dozing off, and despite fighting to stay awake eventually ended up in the land of nod.

Charlie Sheen goes off the rails

Troubled actor Charlie Sheen hit his lowest during a bizarre interview on Good Morning America in 2009.

The epic meltdown interview saw him make stark claims including that he had “tiger blood”, would bang “seven gram rocks” of cocaine during the height of his drug use and, of course, that he was “bi-winning” at life.

Despite the internet picking up on the interview and turning it into a viral hit thanks to its hilarious quotes, the star’s mental state was clear and soon became a cause for concern.

Mark Wahlberg appears drunk on The Graham Norton Show

In 2013, Mark Wahlberg was left stunned when he discovered he could drink while on stage.

Promoting his new movie Broken City, the star was soon seen behaving erratically as the effects of the alcohol began to kick in.

By the end of the film he was sitting on Graham's lap, slurring his words and leaving everyone in fits of giggles - albeit also slightly uncomfortable.

Oliver Reed drunk on the Aspel show

A moment that will be remembered in British TV history forever, Oliver Reed gave a whole new meaning to the word drunk when he stumbled on the set of the Aspel show.

The alcoholic had been battling his addiction publicly for years, but this was the moment that put it in everyone's faces.

Arriving with a giant jug of booze, he started singing and dancing with the house band while the rest of his guests looked on stunned.

When quizzed moments later about why he drank, he said simply: "Because some of the finest people I've met in my life were in pubs."
