Fans convinced Helen George is engaged to Call The Midwife star Jack Ashton as she welcomes first baby with him

HELEN George has sparked rumours she's engaged to her Call The Midwife co-wife Jack Ashton after fans noticed an impressive sparkler on her left hand.
The actress revealed on Monday that the couple had become parents to a baby girl and her followers were quick to spot her diamond ring.
Helen had shared some gorgeous snaps of the happy couple and their little girl at her baby shower.
The blonde beauty smiles as they cut the cake and she cradled her newborn in her arms.
She wrote: "When your baby turns up early for her own baby shower, welcome to the world little one. What an amazing day, we have the best friends."
Naturally her followers rushed to congratulate the couple on their happy news while a few commented on the ring and asked if they were engaged.
However, a pal of Helen's told the Daily Mail: "She’s not engaged. It was the only finger her ring fitted on."
The pregnancy came as a surprise, with Helen only going public with her bump at last month's TV Awards.
She previously posted on Instagram a picture of gifts and said: "Beautiful send off from the best crew #callthemidwife- no plans to leave the show just a bit of time off. And the sex will be a surprise to us all 👌🏻boys can wear pink too 💕💙"
Helen was previously married to actor Oliver Boot, who she met on the set of Hotel Babylon.
The pair have two dogs together - a Jack Russell Terrier who Helen adopted as a six-month-old stray and a Yorkshire Terrier.
They wed in 2012 but in August 2015, the couple confirmed their split. They are currently separated, but not divorced.
Fiction blurred with reality, when Helen started dating her Call the Midwife co-star Jack, who plays Rev Thomas, earlier this year.
Their characters dated on screen for a time, before going their separate ways.
