Holly Willoughby left blushing as Gino D’Acampo makes saucy joke about his new beard on his return to This Morning

GINO D’Acampo left Holly Willoughby blushing as he made a naughty joke during today’s show.

The chef returned to This Morning today after a long break, revealing an impressive new beard – but not everyone is a fan.

While Holly and Phillip Schofield might have liked it, the Italian TV star admitted his wife, Jessica Stellina Morrison, was not a fan.

He started to tell the hosts: “My wife said to me ‘if you don’t shave up there… I won’t shave down…”but Holly stopped him just in time.

Looking shocked, Holly scolded the chef and put her hand out to stop him saying any more – before trying to move on rather quickly.

The show then decided to run a poll about his new look and Gino revealed that if viewers didn’t like his beard, he would shave it live on air.

But the public vote was 55% in favour of him keeping it. Celebrating, he said: “I am looking forward to my wife’s bush.”

Trying to make him be quiet, Phillip said: “I have to figure out if legally we have to apologise for that, We are very sorry anyway.”

Those watching the show couldn’t believe he made the comment on morning TV.

One person tweeted: “ Tell me Gino didnt just seriously go there? 🙉 Does he want to get fired & divorced in the same week?”

While another viewer remarked: “Hahaha! I love Gino D’Acampo…He always goes too far. lol #ThisMorning.”

And someone else wrote: “@thismorning @Schofe @hollywills Gino needs to lose the beard although he does suit it! He cracks me up! He has no filter! 😂😂😂.”

Meanwhile Rylan Clark Neal was a fan of Gino’s new look and joked that he looked like his long lost father.
