Strictly Come Dancing’s Gemma Atkinson slams rumours she’s dating Gorka Marquez – saying the only thing they’ve shared is a guacamole recipe
STRICTLY Come Dancing's Gemma Atkinson has slammed rumours she's dating Gorka Marquez and revealed the only thing they've shared is a guacamole recipe.
The Emmerdale star is partnered with Aljaz Skorjanec on the BBC reality show but there are reports she's been getting close to Gorka.
However, Gemma has insisted they're just friends and she's not on the look out for a relationship.
She told OK! magazine: "There was an online poll that asked who I should get with and they said Gorka, so it started there.
"I've only seen him for the launch and the live shows. He's a friend and the only thing we've shared is his guacamole recipe."
It had been reported that the pair got close at his birthday bash but Gemma insists this wasn't the case.
"He didn't have a birthday party, all of us were staying in the same hotel...one night before the launch, about 15 of us had a meal together and we told the restaurant to bring out a cake for Gorka," Gemma explained.
"We all sang Happy Birthday and I was sitting with Simon Rimmer and Giovanni, not Gorka, but I read we were all over each other, it wasn't true."
The 32-year-old split from Olly Foster a year ago and says she's happy being single.
"The last thing I'm looking for right now is a boyfriend. I'm happy to be the crazy dog woman with meals for one," she said.

"I'm one of those people who's cool on their own. I've lived on my own since I was 17 so I'm more than happy to have my own life.
"If a guy wants to take me out for dinner, that's absolutely cool, but it doesn't mean I want to marry him."
