Olivia Attwood brands Katie Price ‘tragic’ and ‘delusional’ for flirty messages to boyfriend Chris Hughes – and reveals Katie apologised to Love Island star for contacting him
OLIVIA Attwood has branded Katie Price "tragic" and "delusional" over her flirty messages to boyfriend Chris Hughes.
It all kicked off last week when Chris posted the texts Katie had sent him after she claimed they'd never been in touch.
Since then Chris refused to appear on Loose Women if Katie was a panellist while Katie hinted that he had blocked her but she still has "screenshots".
Now Olivia has weighed in on the drama telling OK! magazine: "Katie is a bit delusional to think Chris would fancy her or cheat on me".
"I don't think she cared about the fact he was in a relationship or much younger than her."
Olivia said Chris showed her the messages straight away but admitted she found it "weird" when she started texting him in "the early hours of the morning".
"I guess she was testing the waters to see if she had a shot," she added.
Olivia said her other half was "flustered" by Katie's flirting on Loose Women and says he didn't reply because he has "great morals".
"He showed me the messages whenever he got them but it wasn't something we spent much time talking about. It just had a bit of a tragic feel to it," she said.
"Katie had just been told by Kieran Hayler that he had cheated on her again, so she was probably having a drink with her mates and thought, f**k it.
"She has a lot going on in her own life at the moment and Chris is a great looking guy so I can't blame her for trying it on."
However, she doesn't think mum-of-five Katie stood a chance with Chris, 24.
"She's the opposite of Chris's type, I am too! He doesn't usually like fake boobs, fake hair and loud girls," she said.
Olivia also revealed the former glamour model apologised to her when they met at the Bradley Lowery charity football match.
"I'm a big fan of Katie's so it was really nice to meet her. She said I reminded her of herself when she was younger and that she was sorry for messaging Chris," she said.
"I told her there were no hard feelings. Lots of women have messaged Chris over the past few months, including girls that know me.
"It's just one of those things that happens when you're in the public eye. I don't hold it against her."
Olivia and Chris have been on the rocks over the past few weeks and split after a major bust-up on a night out.
"We had a bit of a hiccup but we're back on track. We've only known each other three months and we're already living together so of course we have s**t days."
