Nicole Scherzinger to reunite with The Pussycat Dolls for a tour — after almost 10 years since they split
THE PUSSYCAT DOLLS was an apt name for a group who were always getting catty with each other.
But after years spent with their claws out, they are putting their differences aside to reunite.
I can reveal plans are in motion for the US girl band to perform a series of shows next year, almost a decade after they split.
NICOLE SCHERZINGER has agreed to take part with the other dolls ASHLEY ROBERTS, JESSICA SUTTA, KIMBERLY WYATT and MELODY THORNTON.
A group insider said: “Talk of the girls getting back together has been rife for a few years now and they have finally found a time which works for them all.
“They are still deciding whether it will involve a full tour or just a handful of performances but they are excited to be getting out there together again.
“The girls feel the time is right to let bygones be bygones and put any differences they had behind them and celebrate the great songs they made.
“As well as their old tunes, they are hoping to treat fans with new music, too.
“When they parted ways in 2009 it was only intended to be a hiatus, so it feels like the right thing to do.”
The group had No1 singles with Don’t Cha and Stickwitu, as well as six other top ten hits from their two albums.
But the dynamic in the group started to sour and in 2012 former member CARMIT BACHAR insisted Nicole had come to dominate the other girls.
At the same time Carmit, who walked out in 2008, said: “A Pussycat Dolls reunion isn’t out of the question. Five of us — and not Nicole — could happen. But all six? Never. Too much water under the bridge.”
While the girls have secretly buried the hatchet to plow on with the tour plans, it is not yet clear if Carmit will be involved.
That could spark a whole new catfight.

Mutya & Dane 'supergroup'
ANYONE still hoping for a SUGABABES comeback should prepare to be as sorely disappointed as I am.
Four years after MUTYA BUENA reunited with SIOBHAN DONAGHY and KEISHA BUCHANAN for short-lived pop group MKS, she has found some new bandmates for one of the most bonkers-sounding supergroups ever.
The girl band star has teamed up with ANOTHER LEVEL singer DANE BOWERS, SO SOLID CREW rapper ROMEO and a slew of other musicians from the early Noughties to release brand new music.
But it gets even weirder, as Celebrity Big Brother star PAUL DANAN will act as the group’s manager. And the formation will all be documented for a new telly show. In an exclusive interview, Paul, who also appeared in Celebrity Love Island, said: “MC DT, who sings We’re Loving It, Loving It, Loving It, asked if I could come and be a part of this new reality show that he’s making.
“It’s with Dane Bowers, MC BUSHKIN, who was in the HEARTLESS CREW, Romeo from So Solid Crew, Mutya Buena from Sugababes, me, DT and some other really cool DJs and MCs and stuff like that.
“It’s called The Comeback. We filmed the pilot over the weekend and it went really well.”
Last month, my sister column Biz on Sunday revealed Mutya was living in a council flat in London with eight other people, three years after being declared bankrupt.
I fear this won’t be quite the money spinner she needs.

MICKY FLANAGAN sold out 12 dates at London’s O2 on his 55-gig UK tour, and now you can watch it for yourself.
His new DVD, An’ Another Fing, is at No1 in the DVD charts on pre-orders alone ahead of its release on Nov 20.
Noel spies chance to do Bond theme
ROCK icon NOEL GALLAGHER isn’t resting on his laurels just yet.
The OASIS legend has long had an ambition to pen a James Bond theme song.
And working with acclaimed film score producer David Holmes on his latest album has sparked fresh inspiration.
A source said: “Noel has wanted to do this for a while, and once he started working with David he saw it as the perfect opportunity to use his experience to finish some ideas he had already.
“He’s going to put his music forward for sure to be considered.”
Noel has previously said: “I’d record a Bond theme in a heartbeat. But they usually want people who are famous in America, don’t they?
“I’m only famous in Manchester. And bits of South London.”
Shout out to my ex-periment in hot fashion
LEIGH-ANNE PINNOCK can sing and dance – and she can design clothes, too.
She looked out of this world as she celebrated her 25th birthday on Saturday night, and revealed she had created the striking outfit with the help of her stylist, Jamie McFarland.
And she teased on Instagram that there could be more of her own designs to come.
Sharing a snap from the night, she wrote: “Bday outfit – 1 of 1 designed by ME and my boo @jamiemcfarland #watchthisspace.”
The LITTLE MIX star was joined by bandmates JADE THIRLWALL, PERRIE EDWARDS, and JESY NELSON for the bash.
And Perrie showed she was fighting fit again as they partied at Gilgamesh restaurant in Camden, North London.
She was forced to skip a concert in Las Vegas last Saturday and fly home early after being hospitalised for “gastric problems”.
With the girls’ tour kicking off a week today in Aberdeen, I’m glad to see her back to her best.
ROGER'S SUMMERTIME
ROGER WATERS may have been a wild rock star at one point, but now he is nothing but organised.
The PINK FLOYD legend will perform a show for Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park, in nine months’ time.
He will bring his Us + Them Tour to the UK on July 6 2018, with tickets going on sale this Friday. As part of the tour, he will also play across Europe next summer.
That should give him plenty of time to practise.
Miley's golden oldies
HERE's a collaboration I didn't see coming.
Pop wild child MILEY CYRUS beamed backstage at Madison Square Garden after performing with music royalty PAUL SIMON and BILLY JOEL.
Miley, who took to the stage in gold trousers, and Paul joined the Piano Man on his song, You May Be Right, at his New York concert.
It came a day after she held her own gig in Nashville where she debuted new album, Younger Now, which gets back to her country roots.
Soon she'll be wearing a Stetson.

Bieb's breakdown bad
JUSTIN BIEBER gave cause for concern in 2014 when he was arrested for drink-driving and accused of chucking eggs at his neighbour’s home.
But now his manager SCOOTER BRAUN, who discovered Justin at the age of 12, has admitted the superstar’s situation was far more serious than he let on at the time.
He revealed: “It was worse than people realised. I failed him day after day. We were living in hell because he was in such a dark place. Some of the biggest people in the industry – people invested in Justin’s career – told me, ‘It’s over. Focus on something else.’
“I made a promise to him when he was 13 that I would never give up on him. I plan on keeping that promise.”
After the huge success of Justin’s last album, Scooter must be glad he kept that vow.
