Chizzy and her partner Pasha earned 16/40 for their foxtrot last night and the duo performed the dance again in a failed attempt to convince the judges to keep them in the show.

While Brian managed to get the chance to dance another day after doing enough to impress the judges with his Cha Cha.

Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman delivered the news that Chizzy and Brian had received the lowest votes from the public and would have to battle it out to stay on the show.

Chizzy was upbeat as she said: "It's good. It's another chance for us to get the technique in."

She told Claudia: "It's hard to go up against Brian.  It would have been hard to go up against anyone really."

When Chizzy performed the dance on Saturday's show head judge Shirley called the dance "a little bit more lumpy for my taste".

Craig Revel Horwood agreed and said there should've been "more foxtrot and less musical theatre" but gave her credit for having "an amazing sense of musicality."

Chizzy took the criticism on the chin and declared: "I'm more a Beetle girl, I'm not a Rolls Royce."

Her score meant her combined total over two weeks is 37/80.

After the performance she admitted backstage: "The scores were not so great but I had fun so that's what counts."
