Dawn O’Porter praised by fans after revealing she’s struggling to get back into skinny jeans two months after giving birth to son Valentine

DAWN O’Porter has won praise from fans after showing them she can’t fit into her skinny jeans after giving birth to her second child just two months ago.

The 38-year-old posted a shot of herself trying to squeeze back into her pre-baby jeans – revealing she couldn’t do up the zip.

The presenter and author, who is married to Chris O’Dowd, captioned the candid and refreshing post: “#wishfulthinking.”

Clearly delighted to see a "real" mother, her fans took to Instagram to praise her for being so honest.

One person wrote: “Thank god for you and your honesty! It keeps me sane.”

While a second commented: “Called real life and bless you for sharing 😍... plus really!? you only had the bubba five minutes ago and you always look fabulous...”

While a third person remarked: “This is 😍, such a stronger and more positive message about postnatal bodies than the usual rubbish we get fed from celebs! You’re rocking it Mama! X”

Others rushed to reassure her that despite not being able to do her jeans up she still had a remarkably flat stomach so soon after giving birth.

Dawn and Chris welcomed their second child, a baby boy called Valentine, in July of this year.

Taking to social media to share a snap of their newborn, Dawn gushed: "Happy to announce I am the proud owner of this chirpy little chap.

"Born July 1st, his name is Valentine O'Porter, and he is so delicious. Two sons, my goodness #soinlove".

Dawn and Chris got married in 2012 and welcomed their first child, a son called Art, in January 2015.

Back in January, Dawn told her fans she was expecting her second child with husband Chris.

The author revealed her happy news to the listeners of Get On It podcast – declaring: “I’m about to turn 38 and I’m pregnant!”
