Love Island’s Chris Hughes SLAMS a fan who suggests he deleted his responses to Katie Price’s ‘flirty’ messages
CHRIS Hughes has hit out at a fan who accused him of deleting messages he sent back to Katie Price - after the Love Island star revealed "flirty" ones she'd sent him.
The reality hunk, 22, previously revealed the glamour model, 39, went "out of her way" to get his number and messaged him, saying things like "you know I like you" - and now he's locked horns with a male follower who, like Katie, claims he "deleted" texts he sent back.
Speculation from one fan was posted below a tweet from Chris's girlfriend Olivia Attwood, who he got together with on Love Island.
After Olivia defended Chris for his actions, @cjayc_ claimed to "know" Katie has proof that Chris flirted back - and he wrote: "Think you need to lift the wool from your eyes!"
He then added that Katie's texts only seemed flirty because Chris hadn't shown fans his, and he wrote: "That's what happens when messages are deleted before being screenshotted and posted online. The guy is a [snake]."
Chris couldn't resist reading the follower's comments and, as his blood started to boil, he started cooking up a fiery response.
The Gloucestershire lad wrote: "I've got 14 GCSE's, a Uni Degree and morals. I ain't sent s**t, hence why all you'll haven't seen s**t. Worry about yourself man."
While it seems like Chris ended things with that tweet, @cjayc_ hit back yet again this morning by writing: "So 14 GCSE's & a degree are supposed to justify you being a hypocrite? Nah. Didn't think so [snake], 5 minutes of fame gone. Embarrassment #karma."

This week Katie attacked Chris for apparently outing her attempt to seduce him, and she set tongues wagging by posting the cryptic tweet: "people hiding replies to texts."
Talking on stage at one of her live shows, she added: "Some celebrities should be careful with what they say and not out people.
"It will come back and bite them on the bum. Do you know what I mean?"
Chris had posted the messages mere hours after married mum-of-five Katie claimed she'd never been in contact with him following the flirty banter they shared on morning TV.
Denying the exchange had gone on, Katie had tweeted: "Met @chrishughes_22 once on Loose Women and with @oliviajade_att at the football.
"Sorry to disappoint you all, no flirty texts got sent!"
Now Katie - who was revealed to have sent further messages to Chris despite getting no response - has compared her life to BBC drama Doctor Foster as she feels she's being manipulated by a man.
The drama with Katie follows a dramatic twist in Olivia and Chris's relationship which saw Olivia flee the country.
The Sun Online exclusively revealed the couple are on the rocks after a blazing row at at event in London last week.
They argued during the launch night for his debut single with co-star Kem Cetinay and Olivia was pictured leaving the venue in tears.
She later fled to Germany and failed to update her social media in the days after the fight.
But she has now come back to Twitter and thanked fans for their messages of support.
She wrote: "Sorry I have been so quiet, sometimes in life you just need a minute to disconnect and remember what's important.
"But thank you so much for all your lovely comment and messages.
"I can't replay to them all but I do see them and they feed my soul... I love you guys."
The Sun Online revealed furious Chris launched into a rage after he spotted Olivia dancing with a group of gay male dancers.
Olivia was seen leaving alone in a cab, wiping away tears and staring at her phone and she later posted a sad-looking selfie.
Chris left The Ministry Of Sound half an hour later, posing for pictures with fans and drinking from a bottle of beer.
Asked by fans why he wasn’t with girlfriend Olivia, he ignored the question and carried on posing for selfies.
They also had a row at a mate’s wedding – all captured on social media.
But recently, Chris has been talking about getting engaged to Olivia – and moving in with her too.
