Katie Price takes swipe at Chris Hughes for posting her flirty texts, and warns ‘it will bite him on the bum’
KATIE Price has taken a thinly veiled swipe at Chris Hughes after the Love Island star shared her flirty messages online.
The star used her Audience With Katie Price tour to make a dig at the star who posted the messages on his Twitter account yesterday.
She told the audience: "Some celebrities should be careful with what they say and not out people.
"It will come back and bite them on the bum. Do you know what I mean?"
Katie's comments came after she posted a cryptic tweet yesterday about "people hiding replies to texts."
The Love Island star posted the messages, which he claims were to sent to him by the married mum-of-five, just hours after Katie insisted she'd never been in contact with him.
He wrote alongside the posts: "Okay sweetheart. Being pied shouldn't make you bitter."
Katie insisted she didn't send any "flirty messages" to Chris and, earlier today, told her fans: "Met @chrishughes_22 once on Loose Women and with @oliviajade_att at the football.
"Sorry to disappoint you all, no flirty texts got sent!"
But Chris went on to share the messages with his 400,000 Twitter followers.
He told his fans: "A message from another female who went out her way to get my number from someone, then messaging me, is flirty."
The reality TV hunk then posted screen shots of the exchange between him and Katie, which were sent when he and Love Island co-star Olivia Attwood were clearly an item.
In the first message, 39-year-old Katie told Chris over Instagram: "Hey, so good to meet you yesterday.
"Anyway [here is] my number and would love to go shooting. Obviously this stays private."
Katie then posted her phone number to Chris, which he blurred out in the message.
Chris appears to have ignored Katie's first message to him however, as another screen shot shows how Katie then went on to text him after she got his number from a "mutual friend".

Her second message read: "I don't think [you're] getting my messages are you?
"I think they are getting deleted. I'm not here to cause trouble at all. Yes you know I like you! And here for advice too.
"You will just get people wanting money out of you so just try [to] be careful."
The Loose Women star ended her message: "Hope to hear from you. And if you don't want me to [text] or be in touch I'd rather you tell me."
Chris then went on to post another message from Katie, which appears to have been sent after The Sun Online revealed he'd had a huge bust up with his Love Island girlfriend Olivia Attwood.
The text read: "If news is true, hope [you're] OK. Between us I'm in the same boat after the weekend.
"Knew it was coming, let's say [he's] been busted.
"Please, please don't say anything."
Another text from Katie was sent to Chris at 3:49am the following day.
It said: "Hey don't worry I'm not after you it was a [phase]. But you on a club PA? I am too and it's [so] late where you? I'm in Darlington."
Katie made it clear she was a big fan of Chris' after his stint on the ITV2 reality show.
They first met when he appeared on Loose Women earlier this year, and Katie couldn't resist giving him a kiss for the cameras when filming had ended.
"I've shown them all to Olivia, so she's cool with it.
"At first I thought [Katie] being flirty was a bit of banter, but the content of the messages makes me think she isn't joking!
"It's very weird to think that three months ago no one knew who I was and now I have Katie Price texting me."
The Sun Online exclusively revealed the couple are on the rocks after a blazing row at at event in London last week.
They argued during the launch night for his debut single with co-star Kem Cetinay and Olivia was pictured leaving the venue in tears.
They are believed to have split after the fiery bust-up as Olivia fled to Germany.
After she returned from the trip, fans were convinced the romance was all over as they were not seen together in the following days.
But she seemingly tried to stop the rumours yesterday by sharing a loved up Instagram post of the pair kissing on the night of the big fight.
