Kylie Jenner was telling close friends and relatives about her pregnancy SIX WEEKS ago – but has wanted to be a mum for years, says family friend Spencer Pratt
KYLIE Jenner’s close family friend Spencer Pratt says she’s been telling people about her pregnancy for six weeks and that she “loves playing mom”.
Spencer is best friends with Kylie’s half-brother Brody Jenner, who he appeared with on The Hills, so has known the 20-year-old nearly all her life and thinks she was born to be a mum.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online he said: “She started telling people she was pregnant six weeks ago, because the person I know who heard the news, knew [she was pregnant] back then.”
The news of the 20-year-old’s pregnancy with boyfriend Travis Scott sent shockwaves across the world when it was reported by TMZ on Friday, with many people feeling that the youngest of the Kardashian / Jenner clan simply isn’t mature enough to handle the responsibilities of being a mother.
However Spencer disagrees and feels she had plenty of practice when she cared for her ex-boyfriend Tyga’s son King Cairo, four.
34-year-old Spencer explained: “I used to watch her with the babies and King, she loves playing mom and cooking all the meals – I think she’ll be an amazing mom.
“Kylie grew up faster than any other person – she may only be twenty but she grew up so fast she may as well be 30.”
And while cynical Kardashian watchers say this is the perfect publicity stunt to coincide with the tenth anniversary of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and help the dwindling figures of Kylie’s reality show, The Life Of Kylie, Spencer thinks this was not at all orchestrated for “underdog” Kylie.
“It’s so unbelievably amazing to me, I’m so excited for it, I’m very happy, she was the underdog of the Kardashians,” he said.
“It’s a massive stroke of genius.
“I don’t think they timed it for the anniversary – it really did leak out, I don’t think Kris Jenner was behind it, as they would have capitalised more financially.”
He added: “I think they’ll just add Travis and the baby to the Life of Kylie – that show is not going anywhere.”
The reality star is thought to be five months pregnant with a daughter, and yesterday a source close to the family confirmed to The Sun Online that her dad Caitlyn Jenner was “heartbroken” to learn the news on the internet.
The insider said: “Caitlyn had to find out that Kylie was pregnant just like everyone else — from the internet.
“She was heartbroken that her own daughter wouldn’t confide something so serious to her first.

“Of course Caitlyn will get over it and she will be there for her daughter and granddaughter.
“The fact is, Kylie was just worried about Caitlyn’s reaction and then the news leaked out much quicker than she expected – before she had the chance to speak to her.”
