Leona Lewis looks unrecognisable as she showcases extremely toned figure in thigh-split gown
LEONA Lewis looks incredibly different to the star viewers voted for on The X Factor - as she shows off her slender legs and ultra-toned figure in a high thigh-split gown at an LA charity event.
The willowy 2006 X Factor winner, 32, was almost unrecognisable in the cut-out dress with her hair scraped back, emphasising her dramatic cheekbones.
The Islington native has shed a lot of weight in the last few years and the navy and black panelled dress she had on highlighted her svelte frame.
Leona was every inch the glam red carpet star at the Mercy For Animals annual charity gala in LA, where she now lives.
Her sequined garment showed off her feather tattoo on her left shoulder as well as the figure she now regularly shows off during her luxury getaways on Instagram.
The Bleeding Love hitmaker has also embraced her natural curls and ditched straighteners forever after
suffering hair loss as one of the symptoms of Hashimoto’s disease, which is linked to fatigue.
Life-long vegetarian Leona has lost lots of weight and transformed her image in the last eleven years, and recently she revealed how she keeps fit.
She said: "I do four hour-long workouts per week – everything from SoulCycle to hiking with my dog."
"I try to drink plenty of water every day. I always have a bottle with me. It flushes out toxins and keeps my skin clear.
"I stick to three cappuccinos a week and a whisky on the rocks as an occasional vice," she added.
Leona is currently working on new music for the first time since her 2015 album I Am came out.

Her last work in the UK was as part of the group recording of Simon Cowell's Grenfell Tower charity single.
Recently she met one of her "first crushes" in Las Vegas - Ricky Martin - when she got up on stage with him during his residency gig.
She captioned a selfie of them together: "Such fun times dancing the night away with @ricky_martin at his amazing Vegas show. Such a talented man and a beautiful soul! Also one of my first crushes 😝😻."
