X Factor’s Simon Cowell takes a swipe at Spice Girl Victoria Beckham after ‘lookalike’ singer auditions

SIMON Cowell took a nasty swipe at Victoria Beckham on the X Factor.
The music mogul was left distinctly unimpressed with singer Queen A in tonight's episode of the ITV music competition and criticised her, saying she sounded like the Spice Girl turned fashion designer.
With Sharon Osbourne telling the singer, real name Ashleigh Jade Warwick, who claimed she had all the attributes of a pop star and looked like Posh Spice.
But after her less than stellar audition of a mash-up of songs by Celine Dion, Salt N Pepa and R Kelly, catty Simon joked that she sounded like Victoria.
"Well you sound like Victoria," Simon said, insulting the Spice Girl.
The X Factor judges were stunned into silence by a singer's bizarre voice in scenes to be shown in tonight's episode.
Make-up artist Megan Byrne performed I Put A Spell on You by Screamin' Jay Hawkins but her quirky voice had the judges confused.
"You definitely made that song unique," Sharon Osbourne told her.
"I don't know what to say," Louis Walsh added while Nicole Scherzinger said that her voice was "super quirky".
Louis added: "Parts were good but parts were super bad."
The shocks kept coming when Simon Cowell finally arrived and jumped out of his skin when a cruise ship entertainer shrieked his way into the room.
