Scarlett Moffatt reveals she’ll have new set of teeth 11 years after being bullied after car accident turned them black
The ex Gogglebox favourite has a brand spanking new look thanks to dental surgery in London
SCARLETT Moffatt will FINALLY have the million dollar smile she's been craving since a horror car accident aged 11 turned her teeth BLACK.
The former Gogglebox star posed a hugely delighted selfie today as she revealed her new set of gnashers was imminent, telling her fans: "I’m gonna cry finally in a month after 11 years after my accident I’ll have new teeth.”
The brunette, 26, opened her mouth wide to show off her current best effect, while wearing a smart white shirt as she headed off to the clinic.
The star was just 11 when she smashed her teeth after being knocked off her bike by a car.
This meant she had to have temporary 'teeth caps' yet today's treatment in London saw measurements for new, permanent caps taken and they will soon be put in place.
Previously, the telly favourite has revealed the harrowing accident's impact on her face made her a target for school bullies and dented her confidence, something which was further knocked when she was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy.
Scarlett, who has since gone on to win reality TV show I'm A Celebrity, said: “I was on my bike when I was 11 and a car hit me. The nerves had gone, so I had black teeth at the front.”
“So I had black teeth as well as a monobrow, and I was a little bit chubby, and then half my face was on the slide.”
The northern lass has been living with the makeshift veneers for the past 15 years, so her cosmetic work has been a long time coming.
Yet Scarlett has admitted she soon bounced back from the aftermath of her mishap.

She admitted: “I knew I had to make friends. Once I moved school and puberty hit over the six-weeks holiday, all of a sudden I got boobs, my mam let me wax my eyebrows and I went and got my hair done.
"I just had this new-found confidence.”
The star added: “Being bullied made me realise that people will like you or not like you anyway, so you might as well be yourself and say exactly what you think.”
Meanwhile Scarlett recently came under fire from fans after taking her 11-year-old sister, Ava, out of school and whisking her on a trip to New York.
Some of the I'm A Celebrity jungle queen's followers were left hugely unimpressed, suggesting she had been careless to disrupt Ava's education at the start of a new school year - despite the time off being agreed with teachers.
One wrote a lengthy rant and posted: "Every day a child misses at school matters and if she's just started secondary school then it's very important, don't get me wrong because I've taken mine out too and I regret it even tho I paid £120 for the fine, but it wasn't a holiday it was for business and no one was available to look after him.
"I just think she shouldn't have took to social media to glamorise the fact she's going to New York."
