'I felt disappointed'
Emily Andre felt she let son Theo down by having a Caesarean and is hoping for a natural birth for baby number three
EMILY Andre admitted this morning that she was disappointed to have had a Caesarean while giving birth to son Theo.
The wife of pop star Peter told Lorraine Kelly of her birthing struggle after discovering the 10-month-old was breach.

She explained: "Theo was breach - I'd planned to have a natural labour but couldn't. So it was a planned Caesarean in the end, which I wasn't expecting.
"I felt disappointed, like I'd let him down, because it is more risky having a C-section than a natural birth, so I was worried for him. Obviously I looked into all the risks - I probably ended up worrying more than I should have done."
"It was a lot harder than I thought it would be, in terms of managing the pain and struggling with breastfeeding, getting him in the right position. Not being able to drive, just the silly things that when you're a new mum makes it really hard.
The recovery process was difficult for Emily and impacted her ability to mother her daughter Amelia.
"I couldn't pick Millie up while I was recovering and it took a good six weeks to feel better," she said.
Fortunately Peter proved to be a rock for her, diligently caring for her and their children while she regained her strength.

She continued: "He was fantastic - he had two people to look after, mum and baby."
Emily then revealed she had her sights set on adding to the couple's brood when Lorraine pushed on any future pregnancies.
"I'd rather not [have another Caesarean] now I know I can do it with a natural delivery, and I did it so quickly and so easily with Milly," replied Emily.
"I'd like to try with a natural birth next time."
Just days ago Emily revealed she's ready for a third baby after Kate Middleton's pregnancy news left her "feeling broody".

Writing in her column for OK! magazine, Emily said the Duchess of Cambridge's happy news has left her wanting more children.
She wrote: "News that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting her third child has put me in a good mood all week.
"I have to admit it's also made me quite broody!
"I've always been about a year behind Kate with my pregnancies, so if that was to continue, I'd be having another baby in 2019.
"I'm not sure that's going to happen as I need to get settled back into work first, but never say ever when it comes to having more children. Don't tell Pete!
"I'd be surprised if they [Prince William and Kate] stopped at three.
"I'm from a big family wit four brothers and it's lovely."

Emily, 28, also opened up about her daughter Amelia coped when Theo was born last November.
She added: "Princess Charlotte will have to adjust to not being the youngest.
"I think Millie found it quite hard when Theo came along because half the time she was an only child and Princess and Junior are so much older.

"He was taking up a lot of our time but it's got easier day by day to spread our time equally between them.
"Thankfully Junior and Princess were really excited to have a new sister when she came along."

Emily, who is a junior doctor, is heading back to work in November and has hired a nanny to help out with the kids.
She said: "The nanny said is he does do anything for the first time when I'm at work she won't tell me.
"She'll say nothing and let me see it for the first time myself."
