From Hugo Taylor to Pro Green and back, we look at newly-engaged Millie Mackintosh’s rollercoaster romances
MILLIE Mackintosh is set for a second stab at happiness after reuniting with her former Made in Chelsea lover Hugo Taylor and getting engaged this summer.
The pair's romance was first flung into the spotlight in the first series of the E4 show, in 2011, but after their sensational split the Quality Street heiress found love with rapper Professor Green.
After announcing their divorce this year, Millie quickly found herself back in the arms of hunky posh totty Hugo - complete with an extra bit of bling on her wedding finger.
Millie then confirmed that she and Hugo got engaged while in Mykonos to celebrate her 28th birthday.
But the pretty 28-year-old has had her fair share of turmoil on the road to happiness, here we put her relationships under the spotlight.
Hugo Taylor - part one
In the first series of the show, Millie was dating co-star Hugo Taylor but they split up when the news broke that he had cheated with her best friend Rosie Fortescue.
Although both parties had done the dirty on each other, Mills chose to expose Hugo's infidelity in spectacular fashion.
The feisty west Londoner chose MIC's Christmas special, in season two, to expose his love rat ways in a room crammed with their co-stars.
Pro Green - the unlikely lover
Millie and rapper Professor Green had a whirlwind romance which started in 2011 after she appeared on the front cover of FHM.
Just over a year after the couple started dating, the rapper popped the question and the pair got engaged on March 25, 2013.
Then followed a swish ceremony at Babington House, Somerset on September 10 2013.
The divorce
Just after just two-and-a-half years of marriage, Millie and Pro Green announced their divorce.
In a joint statement issued, they said: “It is with sadness and regret that we confirm our separation.
"It is a mutual decision, we still care deeply about each other and would like it to be known it is on amicable terms and we wish each other well.”
Girls before Guys
To heal her heartbreak, Millie jetted off on a trip Down Under with her girl mates - followed up by plenty of sun-soaked holidays.
During a juice detox retreat in Portugal, she used the time away to reflect, and posted a picture of her picking fruit to Instagram with the inspirational quote: “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”
Keeping her dignity on the relationship breakdown she told magazine: “I’ve never done a tell-all about my relationship and I won’t. I just get on with my life.”
Hugo Taylor - part two
Millie sparked her second romance with brunette Hugo shortly after returning to home turf, and they have been dating for well over a year.
In February this year the loved up pair revealed via an Instagram snap that they had taken their romance to the next level and moved in together before sparking rumours they were engaged when Millie was spotted with an enormous diamond on her ring finger.
The Sun Online later exclusively revealed how she wanted to marry him just three weeks after they got back together.
