SHE'S SLIM AGAIN

TV host Judy Finnigan, 69, unveils slim figure on day out with husband Richard Madeley, 61

TV host Judy Finnigan reveals her new slimline figure on a day out with her hubby.

Just a year ago the former This Morning presenter looked more like Foodie Finnigan — alarming pals with her weight gain.

But she was back in tip-top shape as she walked arm-in-arm with Richard Madeley, 61, last week.

An onlooker said: “Judy looked fantastic, really healthy.

“It looks as if she’s lost a couple of stone and updated her wardrobe. Good for her.”

The couple may have been celebrating too — they were spotted buying two bottles of wine from a Tesco store in London.

How Judy, 69, has managed such a remarkable turnaround is a bit of a mystery — given her fitness expert daughter Chloe’s comments earlier this year.

Speaking in May, Chloe, 30, who works out six times a day, said: “My dad is fit and healthy, goes for walks and watches what he eats. My mum couldn’t give a f***.”

Asked if Judy had ever joined her for a session, Chloe added: “I want to. But no, my parents don’t work out with me.

“Mum has dodgy knees so she’d have to be with a really good specialist in order to move and not injure herself any further.”

Weight loss saves lives

By Amanda Ursell, Sun on Sunday nutritionist

LOSING weight after the menopause can help in the fight against heart disease, which kills twice as many UK women as breast cancer.

Staying slim lowers the chances of type 2 diabetes and takes the load off joints.

It improves mood and may help restore confidence.
