HAILING from Paris, soulful singer-songwriter Kevin Davy White hoped to make it big in the UK.
He landed himself a shot at superstardom by making it through to the live final on the show - but came third place. Here's the lowdown on him...
Who is Kevin Davy White?
Kevin Davy White is a 29-year-old full-time musician from Paris, who has been living in London for the past year.
His appearance on The X Factor this year is not his first stab at talent show glory.
Last year, he auditioned on the French version of The Voice, performing the King's Of Leon track "Use Somebody", but the judges didn't turn and he failed to progress.
He has revealed that he found the X Factor auditions more of a chance to show off their talent than The Voice because the judges get to see the whole package rather than just the range of the singer's voice.
The talented guitarist is a regular performer on the London music scene, and he's featured on France Bleu radio.
His self-penned songs are inspired by soul pioneers Ray Charles and James Brown, and performed the classic James Brown track "Man's World" for his X Factor audition.
