Who’s on The One Show tonight? Cold Feet stars Fay Ripley, James Nesbitt, Robert Bathurst and Leanne Best
THE One Show will be welcoming four stars of the new series of Cold Feet this evening - and one will even be co-hosting the programme.
So if you're a fan of the ITV show it's a must-watch. Here's the low-down on what's happening...
Who's on The One Show tonight?
James Nesbitt
Hitting the sofa tonight with his co-stars will be award-winning Northern Irish actor James Nesbitt, 52, who plays Adam Williams in Cold Feet.
Adam is a lonely womaniser, permanently damaged in series five when his wife Rachel dies in a car crash.
When seducing Rachel, Adam placed a rose between his bum cheeks which became one of the drama's best-known scenes.
He also was diagnosed with testicular cancer, before he and Rachel had a son called Matthew - despite the mum thinking she was infertile.
At the end of the last series, widower Adam got together with his former landlady Tina.
Since Cold Feet propelled him into the spotlight, James has enjoyed a hugely varied career in TV and film.
He played Bofur in the recent Hobbit movies, as well as appearing in Woody Allen's Match Point and Danny Boyle's Millions.
He also played Jekyll & Mr Hyde in a memorable modern-day BBC series, Jekyll, with Michelle Ryan.
Fay Ripley
Fay Ripley - the 51-year-old star of Suspects and Reggie Perrin - plays Pete's wife Jenny in Cold Feet.
The actress is a native Londoner but does a Mancunian accent as fun-loving Jenny.
Among the many soapy plot lines Jenny has been through is a crush on friend Adam, being seduced by a millionaire, divorcing Pete then reuniting with him and supporting him through depression.
Robert Bathurst
Robert Bathurst plays Karen's husband - and eventually ex-husband - David Marsden in Cold Feet.
You may know the 60-year-old actor from other recent roles in Downton Abbey, Toast Of London or Mrs Brown's Boys D'Movie.
His character is a high-flying management consultant who has an affair - before Karen has one of her own and triggers the end of their marriage.
In the most recent series he was imprisoned on false fraud charges before announcing he wanted to get back together with Karen.
Leanne Best
Leanne was a newcomer to Cold Feet in last year's series, playing Adam's landlady Tina Reynolds.
She became Adam's latest love interest after his failed marriage to Angela.
Outside Cold Feet, Liverpool native Leanne, 37, has starred in Ripper Street, Line Of Duty, Fortitude and Black Mirror.
