Sam Smith reveals he is ‘insanely single’ as he releases poignant new song about being dumped ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ after two year break
Singer has dropped his first track since his 2015 smash hit Writing’s On The Wall
SAM Smith has admitted he's “insanely single” as he opened up about the meaning behind his new track Too Good At Goodbyes.
The singer’s last release was his 2015 track The Writing’s On The Wall, which was the first James Bond theme tune to get to the Number One spot on the UK singles chart.
Speaking about his new song on Beats 1, Sam said: “This song is about me and about a relationship that I was in.
“I’m still very, very single.
“I think I’m even more single than I was when I released In the Lonely Hour, so I’m insanely single.
“It's been a long while since I've put any music out and I feel that this first single sets the tone of what is to come.”
“People are going to see, this one as I’ve said is about me and something that I’ve gone through.”

He’ll then come back to London on September 15 before playing a gig in Berlin on September 18.
Sam told his fans he was making his comeback just two weeks ago with an emotional Instagram message.
