Here's all you need to know about the crime drama, which continues on ITV TONIGHT...
When does Safe House start on ITV?
Safe House reaches its dramatic conclusion TONIGHT, Thursday, September 28 at 9pm on ITV.
Each episode lasts an hour, and this series is in four parts.
Tonight's episode goes up against Ambulance on BBC One, Tribes, Predators & Me on BBC Two, Educating Greater Manchester on Channel 4 and Eammon & Ruth's 7 Year Itch on Channel 5.
It's written by Ed Whitmore, who wrote for the TV show Silent Witness - and penned the miniseries Rillington Place.
There was major real-life drama earlier this year when Christopher Ecclestone, who played the lead in series one, dropped out.
As a consequence his co-stars Marsha Thomason and Paterson Joseph were sacked and the show relocated from the Lake District to Wales for this series.
The scripts had to be completely rewritten, too.
What is Safe House series two about?
Safe House series two follows a new character, former detective Tom Brook.
The story kicks off when he hears news of a shocking abduction, convincing him that a killer he once investigated and brought to justice - the so-called Crow - has returned.
The victim's family are soon placed under Tom's protection in the coastal safe house he runs as a business with his partner Sam.
Who's in the cast of Safe House?
Alongside Stephen in the cast are Zoe Tapper as his assistant Sam, and Sunetra Sarker as DCI Jane Burr, the investigating officer on the new case.
Ashley Walters, Sacha Parkinson and Jason Watkins also star.
