Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield mock Rylan Clark-Neal on his This Morning return after his drunken antics at TV Choice Awards
HOLLY Willoughby and Phillip Schofield put Rylan Clark-Neal on the naughty step on today's This Morning after his drunken antics at the TV Choice Awards.
The duo took great delight in mocking Rylan after he returned to the programme following his wild night at the annual event on Monday at The Dorchester Hotel.
Phil introduced him, saying: "We've also got to say welcome back to our friend and colleague, Rylan who we haven't seen since Monday night's TV Choice Awards."
As Rylan sat in another room, he sheepishly said: "Hello babe, you alright?"
Phil and Holly said they were fine, but wanted to know how he was after he got so drunk at the event they had to film their interview after This Morning's win 15 times.
Rylan said: "I'm fine, I don't know what the big hoohah is about?"
But Phil and Holly were quick to remind him, sharing a VT of his behaviour at the ceremony and pictures of him holding his head in his hands as he left the venue at the end of the night.
While the montage played, the track Shame by Shirley & Co could be heard before Holly asked Rylan what he thought when he woke up yesterday morning, especially after they had tried to FaceTime him on yesterday's show.
Rylan said: "I saw exactly what you were doing and I knew what you were doing and there was no way I was answering that phone."
Holly asked: "How did you feel when you opened your eyes?"
Rylan replied: "I was just like who am I, why am I here?
"I remember everything, as to when I was just leaving, it's not my fault I work very hard."

Laughing at their colleague, Holly - who along with Phil has made no secret of their love of a tipple themselves - told him: ";You are the best drunk though.
"We have hired a very special naughty step for you by the way."
The pair made Rylan sit on the step against the wall in a corridor with 'This Morning's naughty step' written above it.
Holding a cup in his hand, Rylan asked: "Why are you shaming me?"
But Holly wasn't finished mocking her friend, saying: "I hope there's just tea in that cup, we know what you're like!"
Rylan replied: "Deidre just brought me a bottle of champagne, it's like, is this a wind up?!"
