Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield admit Rylan Clark was SO drunk at the TV Choice Awards they had to film their interview with him 15 times
HOLLY Willoughby and Phillip Schofield admitted Rylan Clark-Neal was so drunk at the TV Choice Awards it took them 15 attempts to film their group interview.
The 28-year-old wasn’t picking up the phone when the This Morning hosts tried to call him during today’s show – so they decided to show some of his “best bits” from the swanky bash.
Phil explained: “Yesterday afternoon Rylan bumped into Frankie Dettori and it turned into a session.”
Holly continued: “You know when you go to a wedding and you bring your really embarrassing mate!
“I was so excited that it wasn’t us.”
Showing footage of Rylan clutching a glass of wine, the duo giggled as Rylan struggled to get his words out.
Holly could then be heard shouting at him: “You’re a disgrace to the entire company!”
Rylan looked up and giggled as the rest of the group, including Alison Hammon and Eamonn Holmes laughed at him.
Holly and Phillip also joked that Rylan was so merry, he was forced to cover one of his eye's to try and read his phone.
This Morning picked up the Best Daytime TV Show gong at the Dorchester last night.
It’s not surprising Rylan let his hair down at the party, which saw Catherine Tyldesley, Amber Davies and Jessica Shears top the best dressed lists.
The 28-year-old has been working day and night for 13 weeks and his jam-packed schedule is only just relenting.
After starting work on civilian Big Brother on June 5, Rylan only had three days off before Celebrity Big Brother started.
The series finally ended on August 25 – leaving Rylan to finally enjoy his evenings again.
When Rylan first arrived at the bash, he was in high spirits and beamed at the waiting photographers.
An insider told The Sun Online: “This was a big night for Rylan and he really enjoyed himself.
