RYAN Thomas lost two stone on Bear Grylls' The Island after not eating for eight days.
The soap hunk called his experience on the survival show "horrendous" and admitted his weight plummeted due to lack of food.
Ryan,33, was among the famous faces who jetted off to take part in the latest series with expert adventurer Bear.
He is now back in Britain and appeared on Lorraine today to talk about his experiences, and he declared he hated it.
The former Coronation Street star said: "I didn't enjoy any of it.
"It was horrendous... I didn't eat for eight days... We lost about two stone."
Ryan also moaned about the constant rain as the exotic island location, off the coast of Panama, was regularly battered by storms.
But filming wasn't all bad for the actor - he met his new girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh, 26, on the set.
The pair got together while filming the show and they recently went public with their new romance.
The Only Way Is Essex star Lucy confirmed the news recently by sharing a picture of the couple in Italy for a friend's wedding.
She captioned the snap: "With my favourite 💛."
The pair were making public appearances together since Wimbledon in June, and Lucy posted a pic of them together in July.
They have also had holidays in California and Greece together and recently hit Manchester alongside Ryan's brother Scott, who appeared on Love Island in 2016.
