Wayne and Coleen Rooney acted like ‘loved-up teenagers’ on holiday to Mykonos reveals WAG pal Leanne Brown – just weeks before he was caught drink-driving with another woman
WAYNE and Coleen Rooney acted like “loved up teenagers” during a holiday in Mykonos just three months ago, according to their pal Leanne Brown.
The couple, whose marriage is on the rocks after Wayne’s drink driving arrest last week, holidayed there with WAG Leanne and her husband Wes in June.
While the teenage sweethearts are now at war, during their loved up getaway Leanne admits there was nothing to indicate any trouble in their marriage.
Leanne told : “On holiday they were like teenagers in love.
“Of course they’re still passionate. They’re having another baby. You don’t get that from kissing and cuddling.”
Just days after Wayne was caught in the car with Laura, who claimed they kissed and cuddled after meeting in a bar, Coleen took off her wedding ring and left the family home they share with their three sons Kai, seven, Klay, four, and one-year-old Kit.
She told : “I can understand [Coleen] being mad with him over the arrest, that was stupid and on reflection he should never have driven my car but he didn’t seem to be over the limit.
“But she can’t blame him for anything that happened with me because nothing did really although we would have ended up s******g no doubt.
“What we did was only a bit of harmless fun.”
Coleen dropped a heavy hint that she would keep the kids with her if she and Wayne do split over the weekend.
She uploaded two poignant photos of the boys on her Instagram account and wrote: “No matter where I am they always follow me, and I hope that lasts forever.”
Coleen’s parents are refusing to speak to former England captain Wayne.
Her brothers, who are close friends with Wayne, are also giving him the cold shoulder.
Coleen was pregnant with Kai in 2010 when Wayne romped with hookers Jenny Thompson and Helen Wood.
Earlier this year Coleen was furious at reports he “cosied up” to a woman during a late night pub session while she was in Madrid.
An ex-friend of Laura’s said Coleen was lucky police had stepped in to arrest Wayne this time — or she might be dealing with another cheating scandal.
The friend said: “Laura was taking him home. There’s no doubt what would have happened if they’d got there.
“She has a bit of a reputation when it comes to men and doesn’t care whether they are married or have a family.
“You would have to be living in a hole to not know that Wayne has three kids and that Coleen is pregnant.”
