BBC Two are poised to bring us a new one-off drama about how Princess Diana's death affected the nation as a whole.
And the cast of stellar actors looks set to deliver some stirring performances. Here's what we know about the show's stars...
When is Diana And I on BBC Two?
Diana And I is a 90-minute one-off drama.
It will be shown tonight (Monday September 4) at 9pm on BBC Two.
The writer is Jeremy Brock, co-creator of Casualty, who wrote the screenplays of The Last King Of Scotland, Mrs Brown and Driving Lessons.
He's said of the show: "As a writer, you're always looking for something with an innate structure. Here was a story set over seven days, where everyone had a relationship to the central idea....
"I don't think there's anything they would find exploitative about it.
"I have no idea if [William and Harry] will watch it, but I'd like them to. I would love the idea it might feel like a fitting tribute to their mum."
Who is in the cast of Diana And I?
Tamsin Greig as Mary McDonald
Green Wing star Tamsin plays a struggling florist who seizes the opportunity to save her business when Diana passes.
Leaving her mother - who has Alzheimer's and is played by Gemma Jones - at home, she moves from Glasgow down to London with a truck full of flowers, and her friend Gordon.
"Death is death, but a royal death is a hell of a lot of blooms," says Mary at one point.
Tamsin learned floristry for the role which is a major departure from most of her telly roles, which are normally comedic.
Kiran Sonia Sawar as Yasmin
Unhappily married to a businessman in Bradford, Yasmin decides to travel to London after their TV is repossessed while she is watching the news coverage.
She meets her uncle and begins a journey of self-discovery inspired by the changes happening around her.
Kiran Sonia Sawar is known for her roles in Doctors and Casualty as well as Murdered By My Father.
Laurie Davidson, Charlotte Hope and Tuppence Middleton as Michael, Sophie and Laura
Laurie and Charlotte play Michael and Sophie - a married couple honeymooning in Paris when news of Diana’s death breaks.
Ambitious reporter Michael ditches his new wife to cover the story, leaving her alone and miserable - while he starts to bond with star reporter Laura, played by Tuppence Middleton, who's been flown out to cover the story.
Charlotte is known for her role as Myranda in Game Of Thrones, and Laurie is known for playing Shakespeare in US TV drama Will.
Tuppence has starred in War And Peace, The Imitation Game and Sense8.
Neil Morrissey as Colin Taylor
Men Behaving Badly star Neil plays a dad who chooses not to support his son when his mother dies on the same night at Princess Diana.
The character is instead preoccupied with his new girlfriend, who is gripped by the national grief for the People's Princess.
Nico Mirallegro as Jack Taylor
Former Hollyoaks and EastEnders star Nico plays 19-year-old Jack, whose life is shaken to the core when he loses his mother on the same night Diana dies.
When his dad fails to send him any support he turns to a neighbour called Russell.
